Keynote Speeches
Mike Baghdady: "Understanding Price as a Function of Human Behaviour"
“Human emotion is both the source of opportunity in trading and is also the Greatest Challenge’
Markets are made of individuals, all with hopes, fears and greed. As a trader we are looking for opportunities that arise from these human emotions Winning traders make money by exploiting the consistently irrational behavior patterns of other traders.
Price Behavior works and continues to work because it is based on the market movements that result from the systematic and repeated irrationality that is embedded in every person.

Cornelius Luca: "Ichimoku Vs. MACD - A Different Approach To Trading"
Busy alpha traders continually seek the next big signal, but only sporadically they experiment with methods other than basic Fibonacci retracement levels, moving averages and trend lines. Those who do might use the “cloud” for another approach to support and resistance levels. It is a good first step toward the Ichimoku Kinkou-Hyo, a comprehensive method. Using the Ichimoku along with the more popular Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), traders will be better prepared to correctly trade trends and identify overbought/oversold phases. Being ahead of the crowd should never hurt your profit!
Boris Schlossberg: "Scalping for Fun and Profit"
Short term trading is very popular in the currency market - and for good reasons. Short term trading can offer quick results to a nimble trader while at the same time providing greater control over risk. With 24 hour continuous action there is no shortage of short term trading opportunities in the FX market. This seminar will focus on several technical and fundamental short term trading strategies that try to capitalize on the repetitive every day price behavior of the market. We'll discuss the pros and cons of scalping the currency market and will show how to avoid some of more the pitfalls surrounding this strategy.
