After considering many different options - we wanted to move the ITC to London -, we finally decided to organize our International Trading Conference this year again in BARCELONA. Why? It's the FXstreet.com headquarters city, the originality of the location (and for sure the exoticism for some!) pleased many of you, we have acquired know-how it would be a pity to loose, Barcelona is relatively cheaper than the main financial cities... and this is the city we most love!

Barcelona, the capital city of Catalonia, is unequivocally a Mediterranean city, not only because of its geographic location but also and above all because of its history, tradition and cultural influences. It has so much to offer to the visitor.

One of Barcelona’s best attractions is its architecture. The Barri Gòtic ("Gothic Quarter") is the centre of the old city of Barcelona. Many of the buildings date from medieval times, some from as far back as the Roman settlement of Barcelona.

Especially remarkable is the work of the architect Antoni Gaudí, which can be seen throughout the city. His best known work is the immense but still unfinished church of the Sagrada Familia, which has been under construction since 1882. Other examples of his work are the Palau Güell, the Park Güell, the Casa Milà (La Pedrera) and the Casa Batlló.

But Barcelona is a city that has lived up to the times and is keeping up with innovation. 22@ Barcelona is a project that aims to fully integrate Barcelona in the new technological revolution of the knowledge economy. This project is today setting itself up as the leading economic and technological platform in Barcelona and Catalonia.

For those in search of an enjoyable night out in town, the problem might be choosing what you prefer among the numerous nightlife activities and places. Restaurants of local as well as international food, shows, plays, concerts of jazz, classical or techno music, bars, discotheques and terraces are there for the visitor to enjoy. Without a doubt, Barcelona by night provides exciting cultural activities, entertainment and leisure for all tastes.
